Is it possible to read DDD files without connecting to the "C" connector of the tachograph?
Safe reading of DDD files is possible only by connecting to the 2nd CAN bus of the tachograph (connector “C”). Some tachograph configurations allow reading via FMS CAN, but this method is not recommended.
Is it necessary to connect a 120 ohm terminating resistor when using Tacho Cable?
The cable configuration is designed to use the matching resistor built into the tachograph, so connecting an additional one is not required.
