Questions and answers
No, BI 530 С TREK v3 does not support simultaneous connection to a tachograph and to the vehicle’s CAN bus, since the tracker is equipped with one CAN interface. For simultaneous connection, we recommend the BI 450 TREK device
Yes, via RS-485 you can receive up to 10 level parameters from 10 sensors (1 parameter per sensor)
Yes, so in the absence of a GPS signal, the tracker will always transmit the correct date and time (important for gas stations and filling stations, where there is often no possibility of receiving a GPS signal)
Yes, it is possible – using FOTA, it is possible to remotely scan and configure CAN sensors as if the tracker was connected directly to your PC.
No, it is not supported – such sensors are often outdated. We recommend considering the BI FLSensor v.8 sensor with RS-485 interface
