Key features

BI 450 TREK is one of the most popular Bitrek trackers with 4G LTE support. The device is designed for projects where the main emphasis is on accurate fuel control, working with tachographs (remote reading of DDD files and sensors in real time), reading data from the CAN bus and the ability to connect a large number of additional sensors.
Main features
  • High accuracy of determining coordinates and mileage
  • Connection to tachograph and CAN-bus simultaneously
  • Connection of fuel level sensors via RS-485
  • Connection of SEO CAN-Log via RS-232
  • Connection of various sensors via BLE
  • Connection of pulse flow meters
  • Working with 1-Wire (iButton, temperature sensors)
  • ECO driving control (sharp acceleration, braking)
  • “Black box” mode with backup memory
  • FOTA — firmware update and change of settings online (including CAN and BLE scanning)

// FAQ

Questions and answers

Can I connect a tachograph and CAN at the same time?

Yes, BI 450 TREK supports simultaneous connection to a tachograph and to the vehicle’s CAN bus

Can I connect multiple fuel level sensors?

Yes, via RS-485 you can receive up to 10 level parameters from 10 sensors (1 parameter per sensor)

Is there NTP support?

Yes, so in the absence of a GPS signal the tracker will always transmit the correct date and time (important for gas stations and filling stations, where there is often no possibility of receiving a GPS signal)

Is it possible to remotely configure CAN?

Yes, it is possible – using FOTA it is possible to remotely scan and configure CAN sensors as if the tracker was connected directly to your PC.

Is the fuel level sensor supported via RS-232?

No, it is not supported – such sensors are often outdated. We recommend considering the BI FLSensor v.8 sensor with RS-485 interface
